What do we have here...
![]() What are those lovely solenoids mounted next to my ignitor chip? I'm going to go out on a limb and say vaccum control solenoids for emissions/cruise control. Anywho know for sure? ![]() Looks like I got an automatic ECU.. :ghey: I'm told it works just fine with a 5 speed...can anyone confirm? ![]() That is trans fluid in that pan...pretty gross looking eh? ![]() For the rest of the pics, go to... http://www.riotdesigns.com/240sx/sr20det/ Enjoy! -ryan |

No cruise on SRs from the factory. Those are boost cut solenoid parts. They limit boost to ~10psi (if it spikes or if you use a boost controller). You don't need them.

I know this thread has been dead for a while but I found it while searching. i have the same assembly with my ignitor chip, but mine is already wired / plugged up to the harness (with connectors of course). should I just unplug those and take those off that whole bracket?

was that an automatic ECU? did it work with the 5 spd? that oil looks just like what poured out of my ka24, the engine was coated in mud and slime, so i'm guessing it was in a flood or something of that sort
