yeah, i'm wanting to buy a bumper cover off of one of those body sites.  yeah and make my front end more suitable when i "pimp" my car out. yeah. i was wanting to know will a 91-94 bumper for a s13 fit a 90's bumper clips w/out any mods to it... if so. i'm going to convert my bumper. and whats a bumper cover directly? is it the whole front end? like at http://www.4autobodyparts.com it says "bumper cover" yeah. does it cover the original bumper or something? well thanks for the help.

It will fit and it's been done quite a lot. You'll need the correct fenders though. I knew someone who had 89-90 fenders and there was a weird gap between that and the bumper. You'll also need the front bumper lights.

I'm only 80% certain that I'm right about this.

how much gap are you talking about? i can deal with some gap... until i get enough cash. i'm sure you know how it is. and i work well with bondo and sheet metal. not quite with sheet metal... theres always room for practice. yeah. i can get the drivng lamps for about $37.00. and they're clear. pimping is on the way if i can get some rims. in 2 and a half months, i should have enough to get the front end and some pretty expensive rims as well. maybe even some side skirts. hey, anyone have any unwanted sideskirts willing to let go for around $100? post up and we'll work something out. thanks again.

What will you be doing with the old front end? I know there are at least a few people on the board (myself included) that like the pre-91 front end better. Might want to put it up in the group buys/forsale section.

yeah, i might trade someone for the 91-94 front end. i like the pre 91 bumper better. its just the 91 is sleeker, more rounded, and lighter. its a temporary thing until i get some big bucks. later.

the bumpers are a direct swap. there should be no gap. the only thing that you will be missing are two side "plates" that attach to the front lower part of the fenders. Without them, there will be an abrupt transition (not gap) from the bumper to the fender. Probably not that noticible though.

I personally like the 89-90 bumper so I'm keeping mine (I even have a spare). It also matches my SOHC under the hood. The Japan market Type S and Type X bumper is also nice (especially with the factory sideskirts), but too difficult and $$$ to get. The 91+ bumper is ok too. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> to me it all depends on how well it all comes together as a package.

Pefectly said. &nbsp;I swapped from 89-90 to 91-94 with NO imperfections. &nbsp;Just make sure to get the side-moldings.

Well I'll have the front end off my 89' for sale if anyone wants it. &nbsp;I also have that extra air dam for the bottom. &nbsp;E-mail me with offers. &nbsp; It's burghandy right now and bottom of the extra lip is yellow from scrapeing it but can easily be sanded and repainted.
