2005 Maxima vs 2005 Altima??? Inputs please

Hello guys I'm looking to purchase a decent daily driver.

so far looking at the two cars Altima and Maxima. I cant tell the difference between the two in the 2005 model besides tail lights...

Right now I drive a 89 240sx Hatch with SR20DET (BPU)

Ladies arent fond of no AC and Solid motor and Tranny mounts

Just curious what is the difference between the two in the 2005 model?

and will Maxima tail lights fit on altima and vice versa?

looking at the 3.5L engine model.

I owned an 02 altima for about a week, nice car, loved it, 3.5 stick, leather, got good fuel mileage. I would have never sold it if it wasnt for the offer I got that doubled my money.

see im leaning Altima cause I dont see a advantage to getting a maxima besides tail lights look better and Maxima badge... that dont make me see justice in the model year. the 2009 and up model that has the more agrressive body resembling the GTR from my point of view.
but for the year is it worth spending extra lump of cash for that?

I found that the 02 altima interior was plenty, as for looks; yea the maxima is nicer looking but tint the tails and you wont notice how ricey they look.

2009+ sporty looking maximas seem to come with a hefty price tag. depends what you want to spend I guess, or finance

im looking to drop 7500 cash MAX on one of these thats why im sticking in the 04 - 05 year range.

I think thats plenty of money as cash money talks today.
