Unhappy Ignition Relay blew two times need FIX ASAP

1995 240SX non-se

Earlier tonight about 9pm, I started the car. About 1 minute later, it just died on me, just turned itself off. It did not gradually stop, it just stopped. I tried starting again but no luck. No sounds, clicking or anything. The dome lights and headlights were working and no dimming. So the battery wasn't an issue. I was thinking bad alternator? If it was alternator, the battery should have still kept the engine going right? Also, it could be the starter not making it start, but battery lights should come on anyways.

Ok, In conclusion I found out that the ignition relay in the fuse box had blown out. So I used the RAD FAN relay (they were both 30A). I turned the ignition on and I saw the battery lights go on for less than a second then went out. The relay blew again.

My question.. What can make the relay blow out? Obviously > 30A, but what can cause it to get more than 30A?
