J/K. I'm 6'1", 185, 34" waist. I'm running a Buddy Club wide on Bride rails. I modified the fuck out of the rails, and squeezed that seat in there. Works great, and I have plenty of hip wiggle room in the bottom end of the seat.

How the hell did you fit into a Buddy Club seat? They're like Bride Seat sized. I'm 215lb and I can't comfortably fit into one.
In any case. Nagisa Auto rails, Recaro Pole Position (barely squeezes into the rails) fits me completely comfortably. 6ft, 215lb. 36in waist. |

i also have a Buddy Club wide/Nagisa Rail Combo. Im 6'5 270 with a 38 waist. The bottom half of me fits juuuuust right in the bottom half of the seat. Its a bit snug. Top half is another story. Maybe its my build, but its very tight on the ribcage, and my shoulders rest on TOP of the wings on the side of the seat. Im slouched foward, and cant put my back flat against the seat.
Basically i wouldnt recommend the seat if you are a tall guy with a wide torso. Nagisa rails: they are nice rails, but the buddy club wide is a bit TOO wide for the rails. It took me a solid 2-3hrs to get the seat and rails to fit in my car (S14) and line up. The specs for the rails call for a MAXIMUM seat width of 400mm. The buddy clubs are 415mm. They will fit if you loosen the bolts that mount to the seat and the bolts that mount to the chassis and kind of push the rails inwards while tightening the chassis bolts. Pain in the ass. And to make things more complicated the seat is angled a bit to the right, and its off center a bit, and i have reached maximum adjustabillity for the side mounts (the mounts themselves hit the trans tunnel side and wont adjust anymore). To make things easier i would use another rail, or custom mounts. It also interferes with the gas/trunk handle. I played with my rails enough so that i kind of wore a chunk out of the handle, so it moves freely. Besides that, the seat is pretty comfy if your body type allows it lol. That said, Im going to be getting a sparco EVO3 and custom mounting it in a few months. Need a bigger seat that actually FITS me and leaves a bit of room. |

The nagisa rails say they don't fit wide seats? Is this true? I'm getting a corbeau forza wide seat and still can't decide on which damn rails haha

Not really. Max width for a seat is 400mm on their site. Anything more will require some "finesse" to squeeze the seat onto the rails, or modification of the rails themselves.

Bride and Nagisa rails don't go that wide. Buddyclub rails go the widest. Only problem with with going really wide is the seat sits higher since it needs to be wider than the rails.
Buddy Club, Sparco, Recaro, and Corbeau make wide seats I think. If I had to use a wide seat, I would probably just make my own rails so the seat would sit lower.

![]() and if your shoulders aren't fitting... then are your 5'11 all torso ? Also the seat padding is different from seat to seat, did you even bother putting your non-butter-sweating-butt in one before you bought it ? I used to have that same seat and my shoulders weren't the problem. But then again I took out the padding so I could sit in it. The pics I see from the knock off sparco speeds have a lot of padding in the wrong places, are you sure you didn't buy one of those ? Also you might want to look into a sparco fighter instead. Thanks for the feedback, my shoulders are 22inches wide. I bought my seat at streets of longbeach from sparco directly. My shoulders are definitely wider than the seat. To be honest i bought it out of impulse I liked the fighter but I couldn't afford it at the time. I never mounted the speed im still trying to sell it. |

I have a NRG large bucket with buddy club rail. Im 6'1" 225lb 36" waist. Seat is comfortable but the rail makes it too high for my liking. My head almost hits the sunroof with helmet on.

I haven't seen a big dude measurement yet. Get yourself a nice 48" waist and then we can talk. My wife has spent the last 6 years ensuring that my wiast stays too large to be attractive to the opposite sex. And I haven't had a seat SINCE I've been married. Back in the day (like early 2000's), I had a Sparco seat in my Z. I'll try to find a picture of it cuz I'm sure it's scattered around my hard drive at home. It came with the car though. I was probably a 36-38 back then and it wasn't uncomfortable. The Z was my daily before kids and sh1t. It sat a bit high with my helmet. Not Top Gun Goose dies high, but if I turned my head and looked out of my window, the top of my helmet felt like it was rubbing on the headliner. Made drifting on a track a bit awkward. lol

I used to run a pair of sparco evo xl's on customised bride rails. I'm 5'9" with (at the time) a 40" waist. Will try and find some pics but it was over 5yrs ago now.
Did about 1200 miles in a week on a holiday including a trackday @ http://www.oultonpark.co.uk/ - seats were brilliant. Really went a long way to hide the shitty roads over here |
