heard from a friend that the tb on S14's is larger than S13's (ka), anyone know if thats true because Ive never heard that before, also is there anything else I can use from my S14 Ka that would be an improvement on the S13 motor?

NO, same TB.

Only thing I can think of that would be an improvement is using the s14 intake manifold, no butterflys, or just remove them from the s13..
