S13 Electrical problems. Alarm System
Hey was wondering is someone could point my problem out or something.
My car will not turn on when i turn the key. im thinking its the car alarm because the day before it was perfectly fine then the kill switch broke off due to the previous owner doing a shit job installing it. was wondering if someone could help me with advice on what to do. Thanks. |

What type of kill switch? Fuel, ignition, battery? If its wired to a switch take the two positive and reconnect them. The switch should be whats breaking the like between the two. Other then that we would need more details.

Its an igntion kill switch. i ran the cables to see what they connected to. one connected to the alarms mother bored main harness and the other was just a ground i dont know if that helps at all but thats what ive got so far. I get power to everything else and when i short the positives cable ground on the block that car starts right up. its just that i get no spark from turning the key to the starter and i the alarms killswitch must be the problem but once ive soldered it back together still nothing. Is there a way to just convert everything back to stock easily?

sell the car.
due to the information you've provided you have no knowledge of how automotive wiring or alarm systems work. either consult a professional or at least an extremely experienced friend. |
