95 s14 rb25det starting problems need help!

So my rb25det s1 wont start. We cannot get it to crank. The car was auto 5 spd swap is done the previous owner claimed ams did the wiring. Everything has power but the starter will not crank. It randonly did once so i know its not bad. Also when i put the car in a gear a relay clicks and the fuel pump primes again. Idk where to go from here really need help thanks!

Clutch in, and gear in neutral?
It could be an issue with either of those sensors/wiring

If that doesn't work try to jumper the starter solenoid.

Autozone or advance auto tests starters for free too. If nothing else it could just give some reassurance that the starter is definitely good.

After the relay clicks on and after the fuel pump primes, can you hear the starter turning with the key in the "cranking" position?
