Sorry it took so long...But...S13 Mudding Pictures
Well I have about twenty pictures I want to show everyone, but it will only allow me enough space to upload one picture. So I need someone to tell me were i can upload images for free and then hyperlink them to this poste.
Or I can just e-mail them all to someone and they can host them on their website and hyperlink them to this poste. I don't care, which one it is. I figured this picture would spark a little interest as to the amount of fun i have had with my S13 offroad. This is me going down a dirt road at 30mph with all four wheels off the ground. This picture was taken about four seconds before I hit a mud PIT, at least six feet deep. I have two more pictures of this sequence...one is when i first hit the mud pit and the second is me completely stuck in the nastiest mud i have ever seen which happens to be halfway up my door panels. I had to climb out my window onto the hood to get a tow strap attached. While i was up there i tried to find the bottom of the mud with a stick about 5' long and it disappeared and could have keep going, so i was just floating ontop of the mud. I also have plenty of pictures of me going through 3-4' deep ponds and water holes, with my high performance snorkel attached to my roof. Also in the collection are me climbing very large sand piles in construction zones and a few pictures of me stuck in a 3 1/2' deep crater! Lots of fun to be had by all. So someone needs to hook me up with picture hosting. Hopefully I will be Hearing from you! DbD |

thats awesome! its always nice to see something unexpected from a car. i know that this isnt what you were doing, but id love to try rally-x in my car. good stuff.

So here we go.... First I will start off with some pictures from my first mudding experience w/ the 240 (this is with 255/70/15's in the rear and 235/60/15's in the front, with a DamnedButDetermined 3" suspension lift)   This is the result of a semi deep water hole that i got stuck in and was extremely close to sucking up water into my engine!   Don't ask me what i am doing in this picture??????????Cause I have no idea!  Well after the first trip I realized that i needed to make a few changes to the car. So I removed the front bumper and both front 1/4 panels, because the stock bumper was acting like shovel and it kept digging me into the mud and water. I replaced the fornt bumper with a Heavy Duty DamnedButDetermined Front Skid-Plate, made of metal framing studs, truck bed linner, A toyota sequoia skidplate, and a whole shitload of self tapping screws. I also solved my problems with water, by fabricating a snorkel that starts at the MAFS and comes out the radiator support area under the headlight, curves back around the 1/4 panle mounting surface and up the windshield and is secured to the roof on the car. I also broke down and bought 29" x 9.5 x 15" Super Swamper TSL's for the rear and left the previous tires up front. So here are some of the action shots.    As seen earlier...30mph w/ all four wheels off the ground  Then four seconds later I hit the huge mud hole I was talking about  This is what happens when a S13 takes on six feet deep of mud  Now it is time to see how she does underwater...I made it through everything you see in the pictures below       These are some pictures of a construction zone near my house... thats some interesting shit... i can't believe it made it through water that deep. some of the pics reminded me of dousan's old signature. don't know if he still has that pic on there.

Here are the three other trucks I go out with...
       The pictures of the grey and black truck completely stuck in the mud...Well that is the same hole I hit going 30mph. Pretty cool huh? |
