Strange sound

So last saturday I raced a '95 eclipse rs (beat him by like 6 car lengths in the 1/4 mile, not a big feat, but I was happy). Ever since then there has been a weird noise coming from the engine bay. And by the way, I have a KA. Anyways, I start up the car, and 2 seconds later the noise starts. It's easily heard over the usual timing chain rattle. It's kind of hard to describe, but the best word I can come up with is winding. It sounds like the power steering on my mom's ford taurus when you turn the wheel, except constantly. Don't know if that helped or not. I opened up the hood while it was running and it seems to be coming from the front accessory belts running the fan. Any help would be great, even though I'm not expecting much considering you can't hear what I'm talking about. More than likely I'll end up taking it into a mechanic, but I figured I would check out what everyone has to say, if anything. Thanks for the help.

It probably is one of your belts. Tighten them down. Why take it to a mechanic? Another thing that causes wining is low power steering fluid. Fill that shit up to the correct level. If you still can't fix it, try something else. Then if you still can't fix it, take it to a mechanic but only if it bothers you too much to try to fix it again. FUCK MECHANICS!!!
