Talking Lots of New pics...TEIN BASICS on my s13

just got them last week. finally took pics yesterday after a quick wash. i also put on some half amber/clear turn signals. enjoy....

BEFORE:

AFTER:

front wheel clearance:

rear wheel clearance:

rear camber!

front camber:

photochopped front license plate away:

thats it for now. the fronts have some kind of jdm camber plates i bought from my friend. theyre red in color, i forgot to take a pic of it. o well, maybe next time. im also thinking of maybe raising the car up a bit, because theres excessive tire rubbing right now and its pretty annoying.

bad news though, the front springs make noise like theyre being twisted whenever i turn my wheel. we'll try to figure out what it is tomorrow, so wish me luck. if anyone has encountered this problem before, any help would be appreciated as well. thanks...

wow i didnt realize photobucket f***s up your pics really bad! wtf! i resized them to 640x480 before uploading them too.

ivan: not really sure where, since ive only had it for a week. my friend and i will inspect it more closely either tomorrow or tuesday while we try to fix the spring problem.

tew photy, i know people who do that and have gotten tickets for it. the plate has to be on the front bumper somewhere.

if youre rubbing in the front, you can remove those fender liners too, that gives you a bunch more clearance

yea they replaced stock suspension. everyone thought ive always been on lowering springs though cuz it already looked low.

i dont wanna take out fender liner because of the now infamous wiring-harness-getting-chewed-out-by-tires problem. so i think ill just raise it up a bit.

i got lucky finding these wheels from jspec. i saw another set for sale on ebay a couple of months ago, i think they were +35 offset though.

edit: hey legacy, stop jocking my car! hahahahaha jk

How do the Tein Basics ride besides the fender rubbing? nice and smooth? I was planning to get that in the future.

other than fender rubbing and the spring loading noise? it rides quite nice. i notice a huge difference when i make some decently fast turns. theres like no body roll, or at least i havent taken a turn fast enough to feel it yet.
