Are all Z32 Twin Turbos 50 State Legal?
Hi all,
I am located in southern California and found a Z32 Twin Turbo for sale that was originally from Oklahoma. The current problem is if I can register it in California. I'm not worried about getting it smogged, I got that covered. But, the 50 state legal sticker needs to be on the car or else the dmv will not register it. I just called them, this is confirmed to be true. So, the question is, Did Nissan make any Z32's that were only 49 state legal. I can't find anything on the subject and thought here would be a good place to ask. Thanks. ![]() |

Hi SteezzySteve!
Any car sold in California has to comply with California emissions. Nissan did offer the 300zx as a Twin Turbo from the factory and was sold in California. So yes there are "50" state legal twin turbo 300zxs.
