What's up ya'll? I joined this site so I can keep up to date on events and meets in SOCAL. I am not a 240 owner, I drive a 92 SC300... but at least it's a 5 speed. Here's a couple pics:

That's me being a JDM dork the day my emblem came in. So far, it's pretty stock. Got a Blitz SUS fliter that needs an adapter plate, waiting on that. Installing a logoless bucket on Sunday I got from Speed Alliance. Next up is rims. Going through Takumi Project for those.

So, I come from Drift monkey: http://www.driftmonkey.com It's a little podunk site we have for fun. Anyway, im gonna start browsing around, and find some pics that rule. Hope to meet some of you guys at the next SOCAL event. L8

Nice, I always liked SCs..
A friend of mine has a black SC300 with 18x9 Racing hart C5 + Tein Flex + Daizen Sways. She will add LSD soon. I drove and drift her car in last month's drift event... oh man.. it didnt feel heavy at all.. It almost felt like I was drifting my own car. very torquey stock motor. fun car.
If only I have money, I'd get one.

Thanks for the compliments. The only reason I was able to afford it was because it is a salvage title. And yeah, when they repainted the front bumper, they did a shitty job matching the color. Yeah, I am pretty happy with the stock 2JZ, but since I plan on keeping this bucket for a while, I will probably swap in the 1JZ after this motor dies. Which I don't know how long that will be. It's approaching 200K already. I am saving up for rims right now. Most likely 17" mesh or multispoke of the JDM sorts. Anyway, nice to meet you guys. I'll get some m ore pics up Sunday when I install the seat.

(i wouldn't mind a sc daily driver though) hahaha =)

dunno what I was driving that day.. Either: 1.) Stock 2000 green Honda Civic 4dr 2.) Red '91 240sx fastback 3.) red 89 240sx fastback 4.) tan or gunmetal 89 240sx coupe (gunmetal with, or tan without Silvia face).
Right now we drive a '94 Green Subaru Legacy Wagon, because we're in Japan and our 240sxs are in storage.

Very nice SC... I also love those cars... but in Canada, they only come with the V8 and automatic..

Still fun to drive those V8s though. You can floss those V.I.P. style with a Wald kit and 19" Junction Produce. Nothing wrong with that.

wow 200k? i knew the sc's were good but i didn't know they were that good. i almost picked one up when i was looking for a car over a year ago. recently i've been seeing alot of them out; i guess they came out of winter storage. nice car; welcome to the board.

I drifted her car again a couple of times yesterday at the drift event.
Damn that stock motor is sooo torquey. 3rd gear drift was do-able.
