A Hatefull Email

Well, I just checked my email and a Domestic lover had something to say about my rb20 car that is on ebay, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMESE%3AIT

here is the copy'n'paste:

Hello.

I was looking on ebay, for ricers and other imports I can LMFAO at, and I found yours.

May I feature a copy of your auction and your Photos on my website?

I would love to feature your car as Ricer of the Month. Because:
You Brag about 0-60 in less then 6 seconds ( lmfao )
You Brag about burning rubber in 2nd gear ( really lmfao )
You Brag about beating a Mustang GT ( again, LMFAO )
You have a Skyline swap, that is kool and all, but the car is still "slow"
The car has a few "ricer" accesories on it
The car is generalised as "s l o w"
a car like mine stock (13.4 @ 104.9 mph) could kick your moded cars ass
my car now 11.3 can still kick your cars ass
my car now with Ex-SCCA Trans Am Racing adopted handling can still out handle your car.
And your car is small, light (yet still slow), and funny looking.

So with your permission, I would love to feature it on my popular anti-Import site.

I dont know... I have a rb26 car, but should I even bother roasting on him, leting him know I would stomp his domestic crap? I dont see any thing rice about my rb20 car? Maybe some good hate mail or uncontrollable spam might do the trick. Here is the fuckers email. Please, if any needs to relive some stress tonight, send this fuck-nut an email. Here is his email:

Why not just politely decline his request. If you try to counter him with a hateful email of your own, he will simply show to all his V8 buddies so they can laugh at it = he wins. You know your car isn't rice, besides your selling it. What does this guys point of view matter. If he's not planning on buying it, then it means nothing. Don't let him get to you, and don't drop to his level of thinking. Just let it go, and worry about selling your car.

yeah be as polite as possible about it. it really sounds like hes trying to bait you or something. i mean if you want something from someone, you dont insult them in the process. you could even keep it really short and simple as "no thank you." be the bigger person.

a soft reply turns away wraith, an angry reply stirs up anger. somewhere in proverbs.

Just be a real gentalmen about it, be not angry, there's plenty of people out there that are ignorent. Let them be ignorent, and let them be the fool.

Now on selling my auction, the first day of the auction I had a guy that wanted to buy the car early for 6k in cash. It was fine with me, so he drove 8hrs from NC to come see it stayed 20mins I took him for a spin then asked him if he wanted to drive it and, he refused, saying that he is deffinetly buying it fell in love with it and drove back. That was sunday when he could not get the check cashed, he was going to come on monday with the cash. Monday comes he is in the middle of moving to FL and was to late for him to leave. At the same time, I am having many email offer to end the auction early, most around 6k. But then anouther guy wanting it for 6700 buy now. Out of kindness, I refuse the 6700 and was willing to take the 700$ loss since the NC guy drove for 16hrs and emailed me the first 15min of the auction being on ebay. So now the 6700$ guy and 5 6000$ people are waiting to see if its sold. Now since yesterday the auction shot to 6501$ and its still got 3 days left so I bet it would come close to if not break 7k. I also do not have time to wait for the auction to end since my rb26 clip has arrived 3days ago and it is now time to pay up. That is why I had a buy now. And going with nc 6k guy was playing it safe. I thought of letting the 6700$ guy get it, then pay the nc guy 200$ for his time, but still I think I will take the 500$ loss and let it go for 6k. What would you do if you were in my shoes. Am I being to nice? What price should I have as my limit, as in once the price reaches a certain hight, when should I forget about the NC guy and his 6k and time, and go with a greater deal. 6500? 6800? ? ? ?
-Thanks, Snail

that's quite a pickle you got yourself there.....

um, I'd call the NC guy and just tell him you need the money soon and have been offered more but are giving him the first chance since he talked to you first. Hopefully that would be some motivation for him. Tell him he's got 2 days since the auction ends in 3? if he doens't work out I'd say wait until the end of the auction (if you can, at least try) and tell the $6700 guy if the end bidder does not workout he's next on the list? I don't think I'd give the NC guy money though, that's being a little too generous...hehe. Think car salesman! haha

about the trans-am guy. I think he's more calling you a ricer b/c you called your car fast and to him....it's not. Compared to a stock 240 it's pretty quick! Whatever, Like the other guys said, decline him politely...haha. "this ricer has class" lol Some domestic guys call any import rice burner or something. I think it's funny that he has ex-scca handling but then boasts his 1/4 mile time.....eh whatever..... All the guy is trying to do is get a rise out of you....

the guy is a damn poser there is no domestic that runs a 13.4@104 stock and would use a suspension derived from trans am series cars because the only one that runs a 13.4 would be the Zo6 which has an indpendent rear suspension attached to it's rear mounted ZF transaxle while all Trans Am cars use solid rear axels thus contradicting himself into redneck oblivion

probably a mustang driver those delusional assholes always act like that around here then they lose... to everyone and go home to sulk about it i fuckin hate shit like this because most domestic drivers (myself included) show a lot of respect and some of us even have them as project cars

As for those on here hating on domestics my trans am does just fine in
auto-x and open track not to meniton the reliability factor for a daily driver and a C5 is FAR from poorly engineered

my uncles Camaro SS runs a 13.2 100% stock. Solid rear axle, but the car handles very well.

As for the guy emailing you, he obviously has a few problems, I will be sending him a few things in his email.

It's true. There are a couple of those in my region that do very well in auto-x. I never would have guessed it.

I wouldn't even bother to reply at all, and that guy would be added to my "junk senders" list. I wish people would stop worrying about what OTHER people are doing with their damn cars.

You'll find that only extremely insecure drivers brag constantly about their own car and go out of their way to try and put down other peoples' rides. Sounds like this guy has some self-esteem issues.

About the guy's email, i can tell he's the type of hic that has prolly rolled in a 5.0 stang/camaro/t-Am since we was 16....and of course beat civics and hyundai scoupes at his local high school. So of course this nieve asshole is gunna bash your ride, cuz all he's driven is sloppy ass riding domestic muscle cars, which have some power (due to bad engineering, therefore incease the displacement to make up for it) no handling ( unless you pay the kwon for the top end line, which "may" come with 4 wheel disc brakes..lol), and not to mention the 'great' resale value!!....
Guys like that kinda piss me off, i'll admit i had a 89 stang GT when i was younger, and smoked most imports (civics, 240's..etc, you know the imports students could afford) . You can't appreciate a good import until u have driven/ owned one...and obviously this clown has done neither. So i'd say forget him, guys like this are dime a dozen and not even worth this post!

Anyway about your car, it sounds like your like me, where you kinda want to make others happy, even if it comes at a cost. Well i would contact this guy and ask what the situation is, and be honest that u have other offers to entertain and need the money to pay off some expenses. It would be nice of you to give him some kwon for his troubles if you do decide to sell else where, but at the same time you have to realize that this is your car your selling, and if he didn't have the finances ready when he came the first time....i'd say hes SOL.

i think it will easiily get over 7k, good luck, and sweet n clean ride.

To be honest In my experience with selling shi. Never hold anything for someone. Give it to the first person that fronts the right amount of cash. Alot of people are all talk and never take action.

I dont understand why he is calling your car rice. Your exterior is totally stock and clean as hell. In my eyes you need a big aluminum wing or something to be called rice. Anyways ask him if he has a mullet to go with his trans am. Seriously who doesnt have a trans am. I though those cars were sweet back when i was in 6th grade and didnt know shit about cars.

About ending your auction. I guarantee taht car goes up over $7500. Just make sure the winning bidder agrees to pay. Im watching this car. I just wish i didnt have a car right now because i would bid in a heartbeat. $6grand for that car would be a steal. Good luck with it. My advice keep the car going the last hour it will jump up a grand or more.

Quit talking about the handling on mullet cars. Nobody gives a damn about them. Im sure any car can handle well if you mod it.

Snail - Why cant you sell your car when im actually in the market for one. I traded my 93 sr20 240 for a coupe with the same mods and now everything thats a good deal is poping up. This car is a sweet deal if somebody got it for under $7grand i would say its a steal. Just wondering though does the heavyness of the engine throw it out of balance or anything making it harder to handle good?

240sx fan but also a musclecar fan. svt focus will outhandle a stock 240sx. (trust me. I've owned both). also a mustang cobra will but IMO thats up there with the vettes and stuff like that. the guy is just a stupid dick who has no life apparently if he bothers himself with bullshit emails like that. hey if he wants to eat a import let him come up to maryland to race my old ka-t.

LOL yea this domestic vs import stuff wont end anytime soon.
Especially in a small town in the middle of texas like where I am.
I'm used to it though. "Most" domestic owners hate imports. I have met some that are cool and open-minded (e.x. the owner of the el camino which is a friend of mine, etc).
They all can hate me and the car I drive, but I will always be nice to them (cuz Im a nice person in general anyways ). I'm not a domestic hater, I'm just a car person. I'm not biased at all.
and about handling, 240sx is not the best handling car out there too.
I'd say 240sx handles decently (at least s13), while my old lsvtec integra handled poorly.
I would love to get one of those V8s after I graduate. You cant beat their torque (yes, I've driven a couple, LS1 camaro, El camino with 350, etc)

Just tell that guy in the email something nice. like "I'm sorry, you might want to wait until this ebay ends and you can email the new owner. I'm selling this car because I want to get an LT1 camaro.. I'm always a huge fan of pushrods, thank you for the email."
