i just read that the jgtc is coming to the us. thats something i was hoping that it wont happen. now jgtc is gonna be all big like drifting here.

because they are going to buy nissan 350z's, gut them, throw an assload of aero at them, put a vq30dett in them, and then go to tracks and race

so you basically don't want to have a premier japanese motorsport come to the US because of fear it will become big? i hope it becomes big and will bring people into the light to use their cars what they were intended for and thats road/track racing. i don't see anything wrong with high powered japanese cars tearing up a track.... hell its a lot better then damn nascar

jgtc is awesome.

It might get popular but it's different than drifting b/c of the strict requirements. Anyone can enter just about any car in a drift competition, therefore more people are going be able to participate.... That is one of the many reasons it's so popular. JGTC will be a spectator sport for the majority.... But a good one!

I for one am happy that JGTC is coming over here. I hope it gets big, and like someone else said kicks nascar the hell out of TV too. even if ricers decide to JGTCtize their car, we can all just laugh, because you know damn well it isnt the real deal.

Americans can't afford to mod like the JGTC cars. It would just cost too much...people modding now can barely afford to paint their cars. I see a lot of cars with unpainted kits. So what would u expect from JGTC wannabe's?
It would just be half assed mockery. But who carez it owns.
