i think i really need to get one of these, but even when i shop for a newer slightly better battery most are too big to fit in our cars, s13.

where can you go to price these things and who makes good ones???

i know a few people must have them in their s13, where did you get it.

I dont want to relocate the battery to the trunk, i set up my stereo to maintain trunk space so putting the battery backthere would be counterproductive.

Thanks

Blue batteries are Deep Cycle. The ones actually made for cars are the red ones. The yellows are the high powered batteries for cars with lots of acc. stuff, like a HUGE system.

They are expensive though. At least $100 for any

The red top is the starting battery and the yellow top is just a deep cycle battery. The blue top is a deep cycle also but is actually thier marine series. Retail on them is $130, $180, and $220 respectively. On another note, you may want to check into batteries by stinger, orion, tsunami and westco they make the svr series batteries. The stinger and orion are the same battery with differnt stickers on them. The tsunami is the same as an optima. The westco just looks like a regular battery only it's a sealed gel cell with internal regulation valves. I have used all of them basically and here are my conclusions. The stinger makes an spb800, spb1000, and an spb1700. For the amount of power they provide they are very small in size. I was very happy. The optima's have a decent amount of power and are a little more common to get. But by far the best is the svr. These things just have balls to maximum. I have 10 of the 80-12's. This is thier next to the largest battery weighing in at 57lbs. Even running 2 1100 watt amps, neons, underbody neons and the the rest of my stereo components for hours the truck starts right up.
