It would be a million times better if it had the square turn signals.

yeah...because that's how companies make money....keeping their products "underground" and "elite."

anyways..what's so special about a replica of OEM? any fool who went and bought the car from the dealer in japan got it...it's not so special.

Hmm...are you guys sure it's $500? Am I missing that somewhere? In the title bar (at the top of the browser window) it says $345 and that number changes to $395 when you change to the Vertex knock-off (I guess that's what it is).

EDIT: You guys were right. I just called and they said $500 shipped. My bad.

Perfect!

Screw kouki turn signals. They don't look better, they're just different and costly. The wider pignose signals line up nicely with the headlights. I think it's a cleaner look, especially without the required extra round lenses in the lower grilles.

This is definitely something I'd buy if something happened to my OEM bumper. Maybe something for the future when I need more airflow.

Make it fit.....Some fit nicely and some dont...just take the time to make it fit. And I dont see anyone complaining about the "knock offs" of the kouki bumper in japan.

I remember Dousan's complaints. But I also have seen pics of some nice looking cars with ait kits. Just wondering is anyone had to do little or a lot of modification to theirs to make them fit.

the hell "jdmtyte" ??? its cheaper getting it from jspec or proto. they dont sell to california since majority of 'aero' companies are located in so cal. this kit has been around since beginning of this year. AIT offers to kinds of the kits. the first 'white' is typical fiberglass, while the 'black' version has a matte fabric behind the bumper and the black kind i believe is the 1500 version. i have seen both kits on many a 240s. since a shop in riverside is one of 2 serious dealers in so cal that get them. the black version is alot thicker and stronger and it does flex but not to the point where its sloppy.

thicker isn't better.

well, if it is PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT fitment, then i guess it could be an advantage, but you don't really want a thick bumper. flex is good.

AIT does not list this "white version" on thier site.. so no way the average consumer would know this...

The question is if it will fit.. but Im not even stressing that cuz bodykit companies been improving that stuff...

I have the AIT sides. had the front too but sold it to jookybanana. It sat high and I don't have coilovers just yet.

fitment is not bad. 7.5/10. dousan was lazy when installing his kit and he will admit it. so was I and my fitment isn't that great. Put some effort into it and you can make the ait kit fit very well. the price is right for sure

i have the AIT front and its fits pretty good, but i'm not too picky
if you want your car to be a trailer queen, or show car quality then, AIT is not for you, but ya, it doesn't fit like OEM, but if you put some time into it, it will fit quite good, and thicker fiberglass isn't that great, its heavy and i had a hard time sliding the bumper on over the fenders with out cracking anything because it didn't like flex, and when you use the stock brackets take your time to line those up with the bumper as well, i spent more time on fitting the front as i did with the sides and rear combined, but those were Msports and they fit almost like OEM
oh yah i also had to cut an inch off the top part of the vents since the usdm re-bar is bigger and was blocking the bumper from going on, i took dousan's advice to cut the bumper rather than to mod the re-bar, or it would have been more work
