For Sale: 2008 Chevy Tahoe LT 4WD -- Cam Upgrade, 20" LTZ wheels, Lots of new parts

Up for sale is my 2008 Chevy Tahoe LT with 130,000 miles and a clean title. I purchased this vehicle in October 2011 and have used it as a second vehicle since then. The Tahoe has a great deal of new parts, an upgraded stereo system, new shocks & struts, new brake rotors and pads, and a performance camshaft upgrade (installed by a professional with all the necessary parts upgraded as well). I'm selling because I'm currently in Graduate School, travel frequently for my job on the weekends, and commute a hour to my office during the week. I'm a car enthusiast and would love for this Tahoe to end up in the hands of an owner who can appreciate the upgraded performance.

My asking price is $16,000 and is negotiable. Tahoe will be sold "As-is".

INTERIOR

The Tahoe has a complete interior. The generation Tahoe has had several issues with interior parts becoming cracked worn prematurely. I replaced those worn parts with the newer, redesigned parts from GM. The new owner won't have to deal with those small headaches, I've already taken care of them for you.

I've also installed an upgraded Stereo system

-JVC 7" Touchscreen headunit
-Alpine SPS-510 Front Speakers
-MTX hidden 8" subwoofer box -- fits under the console
-300W Amp -- hidden under backseat

EXTERIOR

The exterior is stock with the exception of the 20" LTZ wheels, which are wrapped in the OEM recommended Goodyear Eagle LS-2 in the 275/55/R20 size. I have chrome LTZ door handles to include in the sale. I will be happy to install if the buyer would prefer them. The body has the typical dings, dents, and scratches that a 130,000 mile vehicle would have. I'd be happy to negotiate any body work to be completed into the final sales price if the buyer requests.

PERFORMANCE UPGRADES

A very common issue with the newer GM 5.3L engines equipped with Displacement on Demand system (also known as Active Fuel Management) is lifter failure. To remedy this, I removed the DOD system using the Tick Performance DOD Delete Kit. Due to the limited availability of camshafts, I also deleted the Variable Valve Timing system as well. While the heads were removed from the engine, I replaced the head gaskets, as well as every gasket and seal in the top end of the engine. The internals of the cylinder head were upgraded as well to accommodate a performance camshaft. I also replaced the timing chain, oil pump, water pump, Throttle Position Sensor as well. The setup was dyno tuned by Tick Performance. It runs flawlessly.
The Tahoe also has long tube headers and a full 3" exhaust with a Borla ProXS muffler. The end result is more power, better throttle response, better fuel mileage, and an overall great driving experience.
