Widest wheels to buy?

What are some companies that sell some hella wide wheels. I'm talking in the 17x12" to 17x14" range. Must be lightweight (relatively).

The widest I can find is 17x10.

This is for a road race car, so looks isn't EXACTLY the most important thing, but would be nice.

SSR Professors come in a large rear, like a x10, but thats all.

Personally I like Kinesis wheels. Work Meisters can come in up to 15" width I think. For a track only car I'd recommend something less flashy and less expensive like superlite billet wheels.

yeah if you go to work japan's website they have shit that is like.. 15x15"
bad ass, I think.
Anyway even work's wheels have limited choices of offsets and widths and bolt patterns. Your best bet would be to pick up an issue of grassroots motorsports, there are usually at least 5 or 6 companies that advertise there that make custom wheels. I think one is called Kodiak?
not sure.
anyway try that, call around and get some estimates. Also I know in california there are people that can widen wheels too, if that gets you salivating.

a guy on this forum a few months ago had some really nice 18x11f and 18x12r wheels. search in the for sale section a few months back, he might still have them.

EDIT: i found the thread. It was older than I thought.

Just talked to the owner. Change of plan. Going with a 16" wheel. So the plan is a 16"x10" up front and a 16"x12" in the back. Makes thing a little easier to find a wheel now eh?

thats still going to be tough to find. 16's don't usually go over 9 inches wide.

Bogart wheels are awesome. My schools FSAE team has been sponsored by them for several years with no problems.
