Your 240SX Goals
Eh, might as well. Some people want to drift, others grip, still others just be a little sporty. What do YOU want?
Get in-depth. Tell us what you want and why you want it. My goals: - 1-plus g lateral acceleration, in both directions* - 69-plus mile-per-hour 700-foot slalom speed* - close-to-neutrality - sub-112-foot 60-0 - no brake fade on my favorite mountain - 13.75-second quarter - very-near-stock reliability - sleek, eye-catching car with minimal aero - decent comfort (i.e. not fully stripped interior, doesn't look ghetto, women actually wouldn't mind riding in it for short periods of time) - chassis rigidity surpassing modern sports cars' - as close to 50/50 front/rear and side/side weight distribution as possible - brighter headlights (not that I'm complaining about stock twin-projectors... but it'd be nice to have some blindingly bright high beams for those late-night runs) - a couple one-off parts, just for the hell of it; made by myself and my friends - a decent alarm system *Street tires, same suspension and alignment settings. That's all for now. Some goals might change depending on how I go with the motor, but it's either KA-T or NA SR. I want a highly capable car that will be immense fun at driver's schools, track days, drift days, autocrosses, or random mountain runs. I'd also like the ability to list off truly quick lap times at certain tracks, just to silence the naysayers who claim my car isn't running enough negative camber, doesn't have enough aero, or is the byproduct of a fad. Let's not make this another declaration of modifications, more a declaration of intent. Don't feel the need to one-up the previous poster, because in the end, it's YOUR car. |
