Turbo Decision Help

Well, im finally in the market for a turbo on my KA and have found one im really interested in. Heres the deal ive got a AR 82 turbine housing for a T3 stage 3 turbo at home and am looking at a T3 with AR 42 compressor and AR 63 turbine. NOW with whats together right now (the AR 42 compressor AR 63 turbine) how much PSI could I run and if I swapped the AR 82 housing on what could I look at getting?

alot of lag unless you have some supporting mods

with how its together right now will it run fine at 15 PSI.

A striaght T3 with a .82 A/R exhaust hosuing is a BAD match...small compressor + big turbine = bad spool and bad top end (depending on boost). Lose / lose...

I'd look for a T3/T4 50-trim, .63 A/R Stage III wheel...compressor A/R is of little consequence here, .50 or .60 will be fine.

Either run a straight T3 with the .63 housing...or look into a T3/T4 50-trim...and don't use the .82 housing with either, unless you're shooting for +400rwhp.
