how do i get this crap off my trunk?

so i took my spoiler off and i cleaned all the double sided tape and gunk on the trunk. but it looks like there is dirt or something caked on to the trunk from the stock spoiler. how would i go about cleaning this? i tried some goo gone but it only did so much. would some rubbing compund work?

that may be where the spoiler touched the paint, and rubbed against it from vibrating from the wind, you may need cutting compound, or a good polish

if you have or know someone with a claybar give that a try, otherwise fine-medium rubbing compound should do the trick.
