in gear or neutral, clutch out = grind???? help

ok so I just finished my auto- 5 speed swap and i noticed something. when the clutch is out I hear a strange light scraping sound. I hear it in neutral and I hear it in gear when driving. its not very loud but its there... sounds like something metal scraping against something while it spins. what could this be if it still does it in neutral???? if I stab the clutch in I hear it fade off so its like something is spinning that shouldnt be and its slowly coming to a halt. I put in a brand new spec clutch/ fidanza flywheel. I also have a new release sleeve and throwout bearing... could some sort of crap gotten inside my throwout bearing making it make that sound? any ideas people???
