I'm trying to see if my fuel pump is bad.

Okay so I'm reading the fsm and it doesn't say which wire is ground or which wire is positive in the fsm.

I was just going to run a wire with a 10 amp fuse from + on battery to the positve of fuel pump and then ground on fuel pump to ground on car to see if the fuel pump is bad?

Any help on which color wires I should be looking for coming from the fuel from the fuel pump?

Right now coming from the fuel pump in order from the back of the car to the front is Black, White w/purple strip, Yellow, Blue w/red strip and then Yellow w/Blue strip.

It's a 91 if that matters

What makes you think your fuel pump is bad? Car won't start?

Sorry for not explaining what I've already tested. My battery is good. I have spark. When I turned the key with the fuel line off the top of my filter no fuel came out which to me would mean there is something wrong with fuel delivery from the pump forward. Correct?
