SR need help with sr swap

i need welp with my swap i have searched and could not find a answer,i have a 1990 s13. my motor is a red top sr20det, the problem i am haveing is when i droped in my motor and trany the shift lever is sitting to far forward and the drive shaft dose not meet the transmission, the shift lever is so far forward that i can't even put it in first gear,i do not have a clue what is going on i used the stock ka mounts. is it possible that i got the left and right motor mounts mixed up someone please help

are you sure that you did not put the shifter in backwards?

no i did not put the shifter in backwards the whole transmission is to far forward. the drive shaft dose not reach the transmission

take a picture of how the engine is sitting, but it sounds like its way to far foward if u cant reach the driveshaft

my motor seems to be sitting in the right position but the top rad hose dosn't reach the radiator, i just don't know how it could be in there sideways, or to far forward the motor mounts bolted right up
