Ignitor install Questions

Hey guys this may be a dumb questin but I assume the ignitor have to be grounded. But is there a specific location where it has to be mounted?

Wrong, and nope. It's grounded through the harness, you can put it anywhere you want. I mount them inside the car, under the dash so there's plenty of airflow across them, and I've seen them in nearly every other place under the hood, including ziptied to brakelines.

thread jack, since his questions were answered..

are there ignitor alternatives for sr?

ive been reading alot on club4ag about their custom igniton setups, and they are using pretty random ignitors. popular one: vb942

just wondering cause sr ignitors are expensive as hell

Some1 said that suzuki sidekick might be the same, search for it. :P
