Wheel ID

I just aquired these wheels, but I don't know what they are, I need some ID on them. DON'T FUCKING FLAME ME! If you don't have a contribution or a complement don't say shit.

Thanks.

I'm thinking Enkei on the first set. The chrome ones could have come from anywhere. A lot of companies made those to put wire hubcaps over them. It "enhanced" the chrome look and supposedly made them look more authentic.

First set is probably Enkei 92 or a later version (but before they started using the ugly flat centre), dunno about the second set.

First set is definitely not Riken tho.

Except that Centerline never made steel wheels. Look at the rust around the holes and the fact that the center is a separate welded in piece. And, the wheels are too thin to be aluminum. Centerline has only ever made aluminum wheels. AND, no rivets on the wheels in the pics.

It isn't rust on the wheels, it's some form of oxidation. The stuff comes right off when I sand paper it, and the finish is still fine below the wheels. They're still shiny too.

Scoot, it's rust.

Rust comes off when you sandpaper it too.

Doesn't look like oxidization at all.

Just use really fine sandpaper, sand it off then clearcoat it.

Actually, it looks like the meshies are neither Enkei 92 or 88's. I believe they are Enkei Apache, which have a center that sticks out like that.

There are several versions of the Apache. This is an Apache IV (looks like its a 2-piece for that version)

i don't know anout the mesh wheels. the chrome wheels are most likely cragars. super popular in the early 80's.

The chrome wheels are probably Keystones. Look at the following link. These are what bolt onto the wheels that you have.
