i did quite a bit of searching on this so bare with me. when i'm in a slow speed situation and turn to the left no noise, but when i turn to the right i can hear and feel a cracking noise in the steering wheel. i had someone shimmy the wheel and i can feel a weird cracking in the tie rod. the thing is it only happens when the wheel is going to the right. i have cheaked all nuts and bolts amd found nothing has just come loose. i also have inner/outer tie rods but i dont want to install them untill i know for sure that its them. my guess is that the rack is bad. any imput will be appreciated. thanks.
