manual rack & pinion? please advise!

my power steering rack & pinion is taking a dump on me pretty soon. ive never had power steering on my sr. My question is, does a 83 stanze rack fit on the s13 chassis? if not, then where would i be able to get a manual rack for our cars? the help is greatly appreciated. thanks

I've heard rumors that the manual steering rack from one of the Z31 300ZX models *might* fit... But I've never seen this confirmed.

i just checked partsamerica.com (advanced auto online) and i checked both an 83 stanza and an 85 sentra.. compared to an s13, the part numbers do not match up.

i checked up on the 300zx rack and pinion and compared them..

Im not looking for a replacement rack. Looking for a MANUAL steering rack guys.

Ive read unconfirmed that a 280zx would fit by chance.

Dont alot of research on the topic, but everything is just speculation... has anyone ACTUALLY done or tried this?
