My S13 project finally runs. Build pics
ive gotten a couple of requests to see my car so i finally decided to compile the few pictures i have over its build into a thread.
horrible angle but stock for the most part 50trim before it blew pulling the motor the new block goes in setting timing was fun but i ended up figuring it out back together the first time, i let one of my friends tighten down the cam gears and one of my cams broke in half the motor back together the second time skunk 2 springs, 2.5 drop all the way around my gauge cluster, yeah i know its pretty generic but classic always works car in primer i got bored during the primer process and this is what it ended up as, finally running and able to be driven out of the garage of course it rained 15 minutes later and i moved it back inside 1972 hayashi racing wheels....the next thing to put on once i get tires....any suggestions, they're 14x8 +13 |

the whole block is neon green lol i have serious add problems and i got really really bored waiting for certain parts to come in so i painted random stuff. when its done ill post pics of my headliner its the most random thing ever but i think its funny and its my car so who really gives a ish yah know. the car only has 1 seat so its not like anyone else has to be seen in it with me.
and as far as the camo goes, im painting the car this weekend, but im just gonna tell people that since i work in the city i needed a better security system, and what works better than not being able to see the car. |

at one point i was going to ditch the brown but i havent seen that many 240's with it, and its kinda grown on me but the car is gonna end up being midnight blue pearl, so blue/tan/black/brown go decent, this is more of a track car than anything else so what it looks like doesnt matter that much to me. ive always been more show than go anyways.

Nice build so far want to see finished paint and I would get some 15's at least like some Swaztikas or Some Reverse Meshies. The SR swap looks nicely done.

the turbo is a precision gt30 50 trim it came off a friend of mines civic hatch when he flipped it. and before that it was on another civic hatch that consistently runs 10's since i got it i rebuilt it and replaced the seals so its a good turbo, no shaft play, ball bearing, i spooled it on a stock motor at about 4000rpm and went 12.8 with it on street tire. where im living now its all about 1/4 mi
when i go to the track ive got a set of widend 15" stealies with mickey thompson et streets, ive also got a set of 15" stealies with bfg t/a drag radials, the 14 were because ive never seen them before and when i looked them up on the rarity scale they supposedly dont exist. i need to get a solid elbow made to go to the turbo, but im a full time college student so everything is about $$ and i have to wait till i can afford it. i appreciate the imput though. |

its actually floresent pink paint, it got messed up, but like i said i get bored and do some random things to that car, when im done with it the valve cover is going to look like a watermellon lol, i did it in an attempt that when i race, if i do ever pop hood there is so much color that no one will be able to focus on the turbo. just pop and drop all theyll see is green and pink

good god paint that engine another color. my eyes are throwing up.
you've still got a long way to go (not talking about adding MORE parts, talking about all the problems in the future that this setup is going to have...you'll be doing quite a bit of tweaking.)
