Ferrari 240sx Conversion C-pillar Question?
Anybody know how they did the rear quarter glass/C-pillar on this ferrari kit..
im not too fond of the kit but if you could make the rear quarter glass/ c-pillar similar to an S15, the S15 front end would look bad ass on a s13 fastback |

hmm.. paint or vinyl looks about right. Thats cheezey though.
It would be cool to maybe fab up some sheet metal and a custom glass/molding to make a similar window/pillar for an S15 conversion.. get to it guys. |

OT, but that's a horrible waste of Agle Minervas.

Its not paint, paint doesn't really like to adhere to glass, so its probably vinyl.
trying to mimic the rear window line of an s15, using this method, would look terrible. Respect the lines of the s13, or keep saving for an s15.

Search for z pillars on ebay. The one on that car looks like vinyl, but some company makes fiber glass ones. They look ok on some cars.

That z pillar kit doesnt look half that bad when painted. I would like to see what it looks like further away.

Those wheels are fucking ill... Other than that, I've never been a fan of the big, split front bumpers and crazy-stupid low body kits. But they got the wheels spot on.

I auctually like the damn thing!!! I just think the front looks like shit.. great job on the rear. fucken turn signals look like it got in a wreck and got pushed up lol

nothing wrong with trying to turn ANYTHING into a Ferrari.
btw...I remember seeing an Italian conversion kit for the 3 door about 10 years ago for around 10 grand that turns the 240 into a Italian super car wannabe. IMHO, it looked like crap but the rear flares weren't too bad. Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about here? |
