rb turbo on a sr

ok guys i have a t25 thats starting to blow a little oil through the bov, i have a good rb20 turbo sitting around and i have a cracked turbo manifold. . . .so my question is. . is it going to benefit me at all to use the rb20 turbo. . . anyone done this? i have to buy a new turbo manifold anyway so i might as well buy one to fit the rb if it is going to be better for performance. what exactly is the flange on the t25 and the rb turbo i have searched and though they are different everyone always says t3/t4 so im confused. i had thought that the t25 was a t3 and the rb a t4 , is this right?

T25 is T2 flange and RB20 is T3. RB20 turbo will flow more than your T25 = more top end/more overall power. It'll prob spool slower, but shouldn't be too bad. Kinda pointless because you'd have to get a T3 manifold though.

Its really worth doing. It should give you abit more power but the RB20 has a ceramic turbine wheel. it Will shatter and break off at high boost. Get a GT2860R or a GT30 if you wish to high mount.
