1. buying used (blown) coilovers from an importer, tires rubbed up against my harness, exposed bare wires, shorted in the rain, fried my ecu, left me stranded in the hood and in the rain with my girlfriend. BRILLIANT!!!!

2. modifying my automatic ka (intake, header, exhaust, pulleys) Got to pay to play, it ran15.9's, lol. Complete waste, I ended up swaping in an sr.

3. wish I would have bought a shell to start with to save money, could have thrown an sr swapped 240 together for pennies

I've had no luck with it, but at the time I didn't know any better.

Check for leaks, check the rebound of the damper, If you are able to push in the damper and it stays in, stay away from them, I don't care how good of a deal it seams to be.

If it checks out, you may have something worth buying, but remember these coilovers are off of people's cars in japan for a reason.

Bumping an old thread, but worst mistakes I've made are paying a shop to rebuild a KA on my first 240 just to have it blow again... and by that time they were out of business, go figure.

And driving on bald summer tires on an icy day, cause apparently poles don't move. So now I'm on my 4th 240 getting it ready for the spring.
