I'm from Stroudsburg actually. For beers in town I goto Floods on Main Street as they have a great selection. I also goto Easton quite a bit and visit Black n Blue (belgian style bar), Porters (Nice English Pub) and occasionally go into Allentown to Liberty Street Tavern.

When I go up North to Scranton I check out Backyard Ale house and Coopers.

Just had one of these last night, pretty damn good and quite heavy on the alcohol!

And a Stone Smoked Porter tonight. I highly discourage new beer drinkers to try it, but for the seasoned dark beer fan it is a must!

Rare Vos typically comes in 4 packs of 12oz'. Good stuff for sure, I love it with really spicey wings.

Lagu

The label is a little messed up, but it's a very special beer. It's the very first brown sugar they made in 2006. My very good friend's uncle owns the brewery. I will be drinking it this Christmas

I left my snifter at a friends house.

This is the 2009 120 IPA.

Also, I have 10 more of these sitting in my room.

Anyone wanna buy one? PM me lol.

Also, the shrine has grown. I love my room being a mancave.

From left to right starting with the first picture:
Unibroue 16
Unibroue La Fin Du Monde (4pack behind single bottle)
Unibroue Maudite
Wychwood Scarecrow
Wychwood Hobgoblin
Dogfish Head Chateau Jiahu

Dogfish Head Obrama
Dogfish Head My Antonia
Dogfish Head 120 IPA
Dogfish Head 90 IPA
Dogfish Head Midas Touch
Dogfish Head Chicory Stout
Dogfish Head India Brown Ale
Dogfish Head Punkin Ale

Rogue Double Dead Guy Ale (not pictured)

Bottom picture:
Sam Adams Latitude 48 IPA
Sam Adams Boston Lager
Sam Adams Cherry Wheat
Sam Adams Cranberry Lambic
Purple Haze
Guinness
Ace Joker Cider
Singha (cheapest beer ever lol)
Blue Moon Spring Blonde Wheat Ale
Pale Moon
Blue Moon Summer Honey Wheat
Chimay Red
Young's Double Chocolate Stout in nitro can
Young's Double Chocolate Stout in bottle (horrible in can, amazing in bottle)
Rogue Mocha Porter
Yuengling Black n' Tan
Yuengling Lager
Magic Hat Hex
Samuel Smiths Oatmeal Stout
Samuel Smiths Organic Cherry
Stella Artois
Warsteiner Oktoberfest
Stone Arrogant Bastard
Stone Oak Aged Arrogant Bastard

Southamton Imperial Porter
Old Rasputin
Mississippi Mud (very disappointed in this, cool bottle though)
Oskar Blues Ten Fidy
Oskar Blues Dale's Pale Ale
Oskar Blues Yella
Oskar Blues Old Chub
Hoegaarden.

Damn this took forever...
I mostly started this thing to fill that random shelf up in the first picture but it's since grown to a hobby thing. Each bottle I've drank has it's time, place, and memories with me.

This is a great tasting brew, but after about halfway through the bottle I couldnt stomach it anymore. Too sweet and rich.

Got a 6 pack of these. Not bad. Not nearly as hoppy as I'd hoped froma winter beer however.

Well the past day/today is always a 'quantity' holiday but managed to have a few decent ones in the early stages. This weekend will only get better.

Yesterday's Standouts:

Unibroue: Trois Pistoles A
This beer has and will forever be one of my favorites. Unsure on what part I love the most of this, I honestly think it may just be the nice end to this beer...it's all around baller in my book: Big flavor, nice style, hidden booze, and easily found. Canadien's do Belgians well!

Anderson Valley - Winter Solstice A
We were splitting up some of the new Xmas beers amongst 3 friends, and this one was easily the standout. Cherrys/Spices right up front in the nose, and in the taste, however not overpowering in booze nor the often overused 'cherry juice' flavor. Just a super good Winter Warmer that can be enjoyed for an evening (at 6.5% IIRC) vs just 1 or 2 (like Mad Elf)

Sam Adams - Chocolate Cherry Bock B+
While many scoff at Sam Adams for being 'too big' or 'too reserved' with their regular **** (and they really are), I can say that their new small batch/select series stuff is great! This was no exception. Admittantly I'm not a huge Chocolate Fan in beer, so I may be harsch on the rating, but it was good. Imagine Chocolate covered Cherrys, in a bock...it was good. 7% ABV but the overall mouthfeel was VERY heavy/thick. We had this at the end of last night and it was a nice end to a great night out with the old boys. Unsure on how available this is, so get it if you can

Tonight....well I've got 2 Mad Elf's in my now, and have a '09 Weyerbacher Heresey and Insanity in the Fridge, as well as a '10 Weyerbacher Riserva (the super sour one). It's gonna be a fun night with some good beers while (how lame) Cleaning the house. Yes, domesticated me.

I havent had a bad beer from unibrou, although I prefer 'fin du monde'
their most interesting beer ive tried has got to be le terrible.
hard to drink too much of it & I've never been able to find any food heavy enough to pair with it.

Try chocolate covered bacon
I just had Hoping Frog Xmas beer. You can really taste the cinnamon and nutmeg in it. Very good beer to have with pumpkin pie after a good turkey dinner. I also had a chance to try Dogfish Head Immort Ale. 15% ABV. A little too much. It needs to be aged for a little while.
Next week end, I will try some of the Dogfish Head beers that I purchased the week before last week: Pearl Jam, Hell Hound and Bitches Brew.

Give me just about any stout. There is a local brewery that makes some awesome beer. I like a good hef. Also. But not much of an ipa fan. I can drink one or to easy though. I hate how some beer names leave you guessing as to how dark of beer it really is and u buy a 8 dollar six pack and only drink one and then not like it. Sometimes I mix and match six packs lol

Southampton is a great brewer for sure. Only complaint with them are that the beers they contract brew at Lion Brewery sometimes aren't 'the same' persay as their Long Island equivalents.

If you're up for a wacky beer, try their Cuvee Des Fluers *spelling it's a beer brewered strictly with flowers...it's worth seeking out to share with some friends. I also like their White during Spring.

This was the first Southampton beer I've tried tbh, & I was really happy.
For a Saison I found it easy to enjoy, will try flower beer that should be fun.

Next week end, I will try some of the Dogfish Head beers that I purchased the week before last week: Pearl Jam, Hell Hound and Bitches Brew.
that pairing sounds horrific.
it def might work with a super-heavy dessert though, still can't imagine anyone drinking much of it
