ok every one i need some advice. at first ill tell you my thought and then if you could just give me some feedback. im having a set of wheels custom made for me (not like real custom, just made for each order custom) my car has 50mil overs in the rear and 40mil overs in the front. the biggest problem i think im going to have is my car is pretty low, and id like to avoid raising it, as much as possible. i already know im going to run a 17x11 with 315/35/17 on the rear. i was thinking in a -6 offset and then i can just run thin spacers to get perfect fitment. the front is where im facing the most confusion. id like to run as wide as possible, id even run 11 in the front if i thought i could do it with out having to stretch and run a ton of camber. so i mostly looking for input on the setup i should run on the front, or if you think im making a drastic mistake in the rear please tell me. here a few of my pics just so you all can see what im working with. (current setup on ther is 15x10 -38 btw) (also please excuse the paint and front bumper sag)

I say "Tub" out ur front. and go with a 10 wide. W/ a 245 or some other size in that area. I personally want a "IMSA" style setup with 10 wides. But thats me. like 255 35 18x10 on all four. Maybe thats slightly stupid. I dunno. I am not going to play in the snow right now. so its a personal mystery for me at this moment.

I kinda already planned on Tubbing the front. My concern is getting the offset right so I don't rub on the fire wall at and before full lock. And the car is off the road, all it would do is plow, when it snows here we get like like half a foot at s time if not more.

I've seen up a 10+43 which is ~ = to a 10.5+37 so he's got some room. but Coil diameter and alignment play a part also...

My car:
Rear: 15x10 Weld Prostars - 5.5 BS 4.5 Bolt pattern 325/50R15 MT ET Street Radials Front: 15x3.5. I am getting rid of the skinnies and doing a full width wheel in the front, just trying to find a nice set of wheels that will match the rears. I will probably get CCW SP550s all the way around just because since the rear is backhalfed no one makes a wheel that will fit.... so it'll be a custom set and the slicks will be just for the track. Rear is a 4-Link 8.8 Ford. I can fit whatever size tires in the rear, so if the car becomes a single digit blaster the sky is the limit on tire width for me. Its just hard now because I am shooting for a more streetable car with nice wheels, but when you have a lip like mine in the rear and 5/8" rear studs, wheel selection is tight. |

Your going to need to flair out the fender another .5" atleast. Stick the bat in the frontof the wheel well the push the car backwards while slowly pulling up and away from the car at the same time bro.

so how about this one? can someone tell me if it will fit.
18x10.5 +15 rpf1 with 285/30/18 neova ad08s all around, or the same thing on 18x10 nt03. Im planning on running redline time attack street tire class and the car having 430whp. or possibly 275/35/18 star specs? Also thought about 275/40/17 nitto nt05 on a 17x10 +12 or +25. I also have 50mm rear overs with the quarters cut, 30mm front overs on a s14 with sti brakes all around. and apr gt300 wing mounted directly to the frame or similar. What do you guys think? All advice is appreciated. Thanks Last edited by m3_il; 01-13-2010 at 08:01 AM.. |

The 275 35 might be too tall for the front. But it should be easy with 30 or 40 mm front fenders. The rears are cake. With 50mm rears I'm going 315 in the rear and I'm running A 10.5 +0.
