Busted my ACL so I'm out for the season.

What's the best socal ski resort and why? Going to be near Rowland Heights so Mammoth is too far. Any other suggestions?

You're close to Mt. Baldy (closest), Mtn High (middle), and Big Bear (furthest). If you don't mind the drive (160ish miles roundtrip), Bear is the best of those three, real-estate wise.

Heavenly is my favorite resort to go to out of the ones I've gone to (Mammoth, Brian Head, Mt. High, Big Bear). Mammoth was amazing this past December though. POWDER heaven!

I'm in to the park so Northstar is my fav norcal resort.

I've been up there almost every weekend. They constantly are changing up the features and they have a bunch of different parks to suit various skill levels.

Why do I snowboard with goofy set up?? unlike standard?

Should I re-learn how to ride it?

You should ride however is most comfortable to you.

There is no advantage to riding regular vs goofy.

Ideally you will learn how to be effective at riding switch (both directions).

If you are riding primarily one make sure the front is facing down the hill. Some boards have a particular shape which is best when ridden facing forward.
