Too Tall for a 240?
Well i've beenin looking at getting a 240sx, but some people say i might be too tall... there aren't any 240's near where i live so i don't want to go on a road trip just t see if i can sit in one... I'm 6'2". im mostly worried about my head hitting the roof, but i know i can always move the seat back so the length of my legs don't matter but my torso is 3'1"... so just let me know if you know if i will sit comfortably in 1... i just found out that i'm half torso half legs...

get a reclinable and a dished steering wheel and you'll definitely be fine. its a small car, but not too small for an over 6 foot guy. |

Do you have long legs or a long torso? If you have a long torso you may have a prob. If you have long legs you should be good. Either way get an S14, it will fit you better.
Im 6' 5" and I switched to a non sunroof and Im good with the stock seats. |

Im 6'7" and about 265. I can fit stock seats with a helmet and no sunroof. So at 6'2" you should be ok. Once you go to a different seat you will may have some trouble fitting without pulling the head liner as most bottom mount seats rail will make you sit a bit higher. A side mount set of rails would be much lower, but I couldnt go this route since I have a 44 inch waist so normal seats and side mounts wont work for me.

I drove from NJ to AZ this past august in my 1995 240sx, caged and all. Im 6' 2", no issues at all, full racing seats and harnesses as well, was actually a pleasent drive. Youll be fine.

I'm 6'5 1/2 and I fit better in S14's than I do S13's. The only thing that is really bothersome is, depending on what shoes i wear my knees may touch the steering wheel. But I plan on resolving that issue. Other than that I can't heel toe lol.

I would suggest you look for a non-sunroof car.
I'm 6'4 and had a hard time fitting in my s14 before I removed the sunroof. The sunroof assembly is pretty thick. Think about the glass and tracks, etc. There is also a lip that the sunroof seals against that hangs about 3/4" below the roof line. You gain at the very least a full inch of headroom by removing the sunroof. |

Im 6'5 and 205 and fit in my s14 with stocks seat just fine. It is super easy with a bucket seat with low rails.

Fit in my sunroof'd kouki 14 with helmet on. A low mount seat would help make some more room too

OK here it is believe it or not. I'm 6'4" 350lbs and i drive my s14 w/ a sunroof daily. Granted the stock seat is pushed all the way back and leaned back pretty far but all in all im actually really comfortable.
