need some help guys, been trying to find the answer with no avail.

want to switch to welded diff, but in canada s14's only came with vlsd. i've heard you can use s13 diff with s14 cap. anyone running this?

and picking up coils soon, but can't decide on megan's or hsd's. can get both for a decent deal, but heard good and bad things about both.

That'll work fine...and you'll pick up a small bonus of getting rid of the S14 rubber differential mounts. Might just have to double check housing lengths - iirc, there's long lose diffs from like automatics or something and those require a change of driveshaft.

I am running a s13 welded on my s14, and I love it. As for the coils, I never had HSD's, but I loved my megan tracks. I bought PBMs a short after because I didn't like the 2inch droop in the rear

YES, to make Uras look like a BAWS with stock rear fenders, you must have a nice set of wheels. If I ever get a nice set of wheels, I'll be going Uras

And Esforteen I just noticed you have a kouki center and zenki outers on your tail lights. I have read every page of this thread, and I vaugly remember someone talking about that but never understood it until your last pic

this might be dumbest thing i asked on here but has anyone tried to put a type R lip on a stock zenki bumber? i ask cause i broke my se lip. Trying to find something i can source in canada.

you could overshim your vlsd until it locks up, lol

it fits but you have to cut the sides. Here is a pic i posted a couple page back
