SR Redtop water pump?

so i got the starting issue figured out now she startes up every time but after i shut the car up i noticed coolant running down the front of the engine and dripping on the ground. it starts near or under the waterpump.. does this mean the pump is going out or a bad seal or what?
any help is appreciated thank you

I honestly cannot agree with this being an upgrade.

Nissan OEM S14 S15 SR20DET Water Pump Assembly

technically it will fit, you won't be able to screw in a single bolt, but design wise there is nothing different about the two besides the depth of the s14 pump. I seriously do not see how 2-4 mm of room makes that an upgrade. The fins are exactly the same.

I can see the concept of it being an upgrade because the propeller on the s14 water pump sticks out of the housing and the s13 water pump propeller is flush with the housing. I have tried a s14 water pump on my s13 sr and I did notice the coolant moving a little faster.

It is an upgrade, you get less cavataions because the s-14 one has a concave housing
