I would say buy the ebay exhaust I got a catback from ebay for my S14 for $95 it fit like a glove, I've always used magnaflows, and the one i bought sounds almost identical to it and for a $100 you can't go wrong. I never saw the logic of spending 600-700 on an exhaust.

just my $.02

I fully agree.

I too have purchased an ebay full catback exhaust for $95 and it too fits perfectly! Sounds great, and performs how it should. Plus, if "anything" were to happen or you scrape the shit out of cuz you're too low it's not like it cost you $400. You can buy another one if need be.

anyone try magnaflow mufflers? I had them on my other car and love them..not sure how they will sound on the KA.

I had a leak in my down pipe and the muffler shop built a down pipe all the way to a 3" no brand muffler and it is too loud and ricey....I need a muffler to quiet it down

its an exhaust it dont matter. my dog can make an exhaust. spend money on other more important parts. i bought the s14 apexi style for 120 bucks worked GREAT with the ls1. no need to spend 600 on a greddy. i had a few and honestly its a waste of money.

Does anyone have one of these?
cxracing.com: 89-94 240SX S13 SILVIA DUAL Tip Cat-back Exhaust System
89-94 240SX S13 SILVIA DUAL Tip Cat-back Exhaust System | eBay

I have been considering trying it out, just do not want to buy it only to find out it is almost as loud as an N1 exhaust.
In the pictures it hangs a bit low, but I think it could look nice tucked up higher with the hangers shortened.

Something like this.

It looks as if they have it hanging on one hanger or something. I would like to see how it truly fits, and more importantly, hear how it sounds.

Lol, so much mis-information going on in this thread about eBay exhausts.

between me and 5 other 240sx owners i know. we've went through multiple ebay exhausts.. piping is identical in thickness to any apex/greddy exhaust, 3" ID piping, smooth mandrel bends. and after 3 years of running an ebay exhaust i had one hanger fall off the muffler... granted i was running so lean that the muffler was smoking from heat... for 3 years it was more my fault that the exhaust went bad... but 3 years for 89$ is NOT a bad deal...

probably cheaper to go to a muffler shop and stop trying to look like you are part of a 'scene'. A good muffler shop will have a welder there that can make it look like anything you want, and have it quiet enough so you are not waking me up every night.

They are fine, ill never spend 5 or 600 on an exhaust, a header yes, but exhaust no. The are decent quality and if the can breaks off, just get a flowmaster can and weld it on. Done

I go through a ton of exhausts on my S chassis, and i've found the best sounding one (by far) is my custom fabbed 3" made by Bassani Exhaust. Sounds like no other production exhaust, and is envied by high-dollar exhaust owners (A'pexi, Greddy, Fujitsubo, Etc).

If you want cheap and nice sounding, make your own. You'll enjoy it more, too.

I was researching the same ebay exhaust and others earlier. With what everyone says, it's either hit or miss really. And even if you do get one that sticks out at a weird angle, a hanger falls off or whatever, it probably wouldnt cost much to get that adjusted/fixed. I say go for it, I know I'm going to.

i got a cheap ebay exhaust on my s13 because the "stock" system that was on it when i bought it..was TOTALLY fucked up..mickey moused to shit. like 4 different pipes. welded like shit. catalytic converted wasnt even being utilized. its brand new lol.

im happy with the ebay exhaust. it fits great. it sounds good and looks way better than that pile of shit that came with it lol

If anyone finds pictures of the CXRacing/ETD dual exhaust properly installed, please post them!

Dude an exhaust is an exhaust, as long as the welds and fitment are straight your good. I have 2 ebay exhaust, one on each of my s14's. Both sound great and I've had so many people ask what brand they we're. Do it, you won't regret it, $500 for a name brand is honestly a waste just for the name.
