Donated to Zilvia! Please fix the "search" feature
I know it isn't much but i'm a student on an instant noodle budget and I thought I would donate, not for the sake of having a premium membership or what not but for the sake Of Zilvia! I'd also like to add, that part of the reason why I donated was to help resolve the on going issue with the search features/functions. Every time I get hyped up to go search for a topic, I get screwed and my want for knowledge gets dredged with water so to speak...I always get an error message. Either I don't know what the heck I'm doing, my computer is really screwed (doubt this) or it's Zilvia's search feature gone awry! Mods and board members please resolve this, so not because I get to use it, but others as well. I've read countless times about this issue and it isn't just with me.
If this is in the wrong section please move it for me. The "contact us" didn't display an email but rather kept on bringing up my outlook and I don't use it. That led me to post this. Thank you very much for your time and attention towards this matter. Ken Last edited by moebiius; 02-08-2012 at 08:30 AM.. |

Search function works for me, but have to be nice to it. The first time I click on the search feature the text window pops up and will not allow me to place any text into it. It will automatically close and I just click it again and it works fine. This is on my iPhone though.

I get this when I search:
Server error The website encountered an error while retrieving http://zilvia.net/f/search.php?do=process. It may be down for maintenance configured incorrectly Here are some suggestions Reload this webpage later Http error 500 (internal server error) an unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request" I waited for a minute and "reloaded" and it goes to the advanced search function. I type in my search and press "search now" I get the same message as before, I'm in a loop... I understand that you can search zilvia like this on google: Zilvia.net "whateveryouwanttosearchfor" but why do we need google to search our own site? |

If you search for terms that have too many hits "s13, s14, sr20, kade" it'll crash, in those instances I use Google
