ok while i am waiting for parts, such i decided to get some other stuff done. sense this car is going to be drift car so i decided to start stripping the interior and getting rid off all the unnecessary access weight.
![]() ![]() and the end result!!!!(ignore the radiator idk why that's in there o_O) ![]() sense i had more time on my hand i also started stripping unneeded wiring, and ran some conduit to making it look more organized ![]() I just received my top mount turbo manifold.the reason i had to go top mount was with the stock SR bottom turbo mount was to bulky and when test fitting the motor the stock turbo set up hit the steering rack. So going to top mount avoids the steering rack to make the car steerable. also i had a godspeed wast gate laying around so i installed that with a 11 pound spring to start with. ![]() this is all i have for now ![]() so stay tuned! |

what am i looking at? a mangled SR20 with 35k miles? Every motor from Japan is under 60k miles....or every motor sold is magically 45k miles..just FYI. |

Read carefully
vvv Build Threads Almost everyone enjoys building their cars and sharing that experience, as well as checking out others' builds for inspiration. Sadly, far too many users have a tendency to do half-hearted builds and either rarely update or update with trivial progress. In the interest of keeping the Chat forum clear of three hundred 'Install SR, ziptie aero, rattlecan paint' threads, incomplete, or in-progress build threads are not allowed. If you have completed your build, wrangle all those pictures into a post and tell us about it, but make sure the build is finalized. If you insist on having an in-progress build, Premium members have a specialized subforum for that specific purpose. |

Even if it had been the 2.8l I6, that thing only makes like 190hp so he is upgrading to a better engine. I think it's cool. E36's have a cool look, and the SR is a cool motor.

Don't you think BMW 320T would make more sense than SR36? Either the case, cool idea but definitely wrong section.
This is an S-chassis forum not an SR20 forum.

Zilvia is the new facebook, twitter for some people i guess. I subscribe to builds that deliver and bring joy to my life. Complete half of your build then post all your words of excitement and pictures.

yea ive talked to the people that have done RB and 2j swaps and they say the motor really weighs down the front of the car throwing off the balance. so i went with sr for its reliability, abundance of cheap parts, and very popular so you can go any where to get tech help with them. im glad your enjoying the build stay tuned!

haha, zilvia is always a treat...
Like the build, but you should have checked the rules first, kinda surprised they didn't lock it... You're SUPPOSED to have the build already done and THEN post it. |

yeah, but we all know that 90% of the builds that are currently getting bumped on zilvia, are builds in progress...such as...mine, Broadfield, garagelu, ninocrack and thats just to name a few on page one and two.

i dont see the problem with swapping an SR into a BMW, atleast its not another V8 swap, tired of looking at ppl swapping those shits... GL with the build man do what the fuck you want, half the ppl here on zilvia are broke and criticize ppl all day.
