I want to get rims for my s14 zenki in 18x9.5 front and 18x10.5 rears. I currently have stock suspension (everything stock) I plan on getting coilovers and was wanting to know if I get +0 offset or +12Fronts and +15Rears which would require less work? I don't want to be HELLAFLUSH just lowered to about a finger gap between fender and tire.
As for tire sizes I was told 225/40 to keep MPH somewhat accurate. Also if I eventually get wider fenders would it be best to go with +0? I really don't like the thought of adding spacers to the hub. "Thanks in advance for any ones input!" Forgot to mention I have Z32 brakes all around. |

Would you know by how much they will stick out so I know how much rolling and pulling I will need. Also whats the minimal amount of offset will be needed to fit coils and brakes?

Again, all depends on how much camber you're willing to run. More camber you run, the less you'd have to massage the fenders. Also depends on how wide of tires you want to run. Honestly, if you're not planning on slamming the car, I'd go with a more conservative setup. 9j +15 or +18 and 10j +20 or no lower than +15. Also, offset has absolutely nothing to do with brake clearance. It all depends on the wheel design.

Flip, I am liking those RPF1's. Looking at that pic I can see that what we have been discussing will totally work for me and keep just a small amount of tuck with the 17 or 18 -9j's +30. I think maybe just a light bit of lower with a slight rise to the rear will give me that slightly racy stance I like with shocks and springs, but if I save longer for the coil overs it's a done deal either way. Volk TE37's, Enkie RPF1's, or Ray's Gram Lights are definately in the future, but no body kits of wings for my ride...oem looks, a little drop, and just the right amount of tuning on brakes, suspension, and motor to give some really fun all around performance

New to the forum, recently went to a xdc hin event and saw a bunch of cars that run wheel spacers. Besides the obvious fact that they push your wheels farther out, why do so many run them? Nobody is worried about wheel bearing issues?

I bought for my S14 some Gramlights 18x9.5"F & 10.5"R with +12offset and I'm using Function & Form FII, which tire size do you recommend me? I don't want to be too stretch in rears, but I don't wanna pull or camber too much. Just roll and minimal pull.

I have a 255/35 on my s14 rear with 18x10.5+15...looks good not a terrible stretch...normal run of the mill tire shops can do it. Just a roll with -1.5 camber
Best picture I have on me...Bead is alllllmost seated |

OK so I have a question that is in need of answers lol.
I have a s14 rolled fenders in front an rolled/newspaper pull in rear and was wondering if this setup will work without any more of a pull. 18x9.0 +1f 18x10.0 -15r with 225/40s I dont mind running camber, I actually prefer it. Im looking into Leon Hardiritt orden, I also dont know if the low disk will clear z32 brakes.. |

And no, low disk faces wont clear Z brakes up front. Rears should clear but fronts, you'll need atleast 13mm spacers if its a low disk. 3-5mm if its the regular face. Only thing that clears the fronts are hi disks designed to clear BBKs. |

ok, i have 18x10 +10 in the front of my s13 it has full lock clearance(barely) but i intend to put some new knuckles on it soon... how can i maintain clearance? im trying to avoid having to do a spacer, because ill have to run fender flares on a wide fender.... the main part im worried about is on my drivers side tire hitting the frame rail, beacuse ive already had to hammer that lip down for clearance as is...
i know this may sound like a dumb question, but i know there are some creative people on this thread who like to run wide wheels.... a pic for the hell of it.... and yes i know i need to drop my car in the front...im need to ensure clearance first.... |
