I tried, but i guess my body panels don't fit cleanly enough. I want it to go back into production though, my RB needs more air flow.

Shine Auto guys, maybe post something in the local section of the forum for a test fit car. Or try and get in touch with the first guy you tried to test fit on. Or just produce a couple from the mold as it is. It looks like people will buy it. It fit well as is.

Fitment of front bumpers on these cars are pretty tricky. I think primarily because the oem front brackets are weak and any front bumper for this car tends to sag. There's also lack of mounting along the fender side. Because of this it is hard to determine how well a front bumper really fits.

What we've offered has been good, but we would like to make it much better than the original sexy style version. As close to oem spec as possible... Molds are expensive and time consuming to make, so it would be a waste if we didn't seize this opportunity to make it to our standards. It might be good already, but we need to double check on a clean car to make sure. I feel there's room for improvement. If we have to make brackets or find other ways to get to sit they way it should sit, we'll do it. The ziptied look is cool and all, but we would like to make it easier for those seeking a cleaner look.

I think you should continue using the old mold. Looks to fit good for aftermarket aero. Better then some of your competitors imo

This. finding a perfectly clean 20+ year old local car is going to be very difficult.

We're just looking for a car where the front has not been in an accident. I hope that's not too hard to find

. I don't care if the door has dents etc...

The old mold is a bit beat up already. The finishing work required is taking a bit too long per bumper and not really justifying the $350 we charge. We would like to keep it at that price , so a new mold investment is the best way to go as it will reduce finishing time significantly.

I think we've found a car, but it is not moving. i'll have to go check it out in person and hopefully it will be good enough.
