Josh has been a long time customer of mine. I built his S13 from a stock auto car to what you see in the pics above. As such I have kind of a personal attachment to it. What happened to Josh is bullshit. Looking at the car, the guys who stole it were complete morons. The way they stole it was half-assed, the way they stripped it was way half-assed, and the way that they made it roll again so that they could dump it was even dumber. If I ever found out who stole this car I would show them how to steal a car right, because I am POSITIVE that they own an s-chasis so I hope they read this post.
They stripped the interior pretty good. Dash, doorpanels, and seats are all gone. They also took the tails and the coilovers, BUT they did leave quite a few parts on the car, including the lower panel for the kouki tails (dumbasses...). The exhaust and the rest of the suspension, powertrain, and exterior is un-touched. The funny thing is that when they took the coilovers they didn't put some blown-ass stock shocks back on it. It has a set of tokico blues and some blue lowering springs on it. This is how I am positive that whoever stole this car actually owns an s-13 themselves. They were dumb enough to leave their old suspension on it. Here is a list of STOLEN parts to be on the lookout for... -CLEAN dash, doorpanels, and S14 seats (all charcoal/ DARK grey color) -black NRG short hub and v2 quick release with a sparco steering wheel -cusco front and rear strut bars -cusco shift knob (white delrin ball knob) -GT spec c-pillar bar -kouki tail lights without the lower metal panel -chuki 1/2 amber lights -Cusco coilovers (don't remember the model, but they're recent) That's pretty much it. Just keep your eye out for that guy who all of a sudden happened to come-up on all these exact parts by complete coincidence. He'll probably be out at the meets showing it all off and looking for the next score... |

I doubt you'll be seeing anything for sale online. Chances are those all of parts are on his s13. Keep an eye out for an idiot with kouki tails but no matching lower panel lol. Sounds like it's probably some punk ass honda head that just came into the nissan scene and doesn't know his shit. What an idiot!

Make a habit of making a discreet mark on the not so common parts or something that way if you ever come across your parts for sale, you can check them out, and if you see the secret markings you made, you can nail those fucks.

I know thats what I was thinking also. But weird thing is I haven't been to a meet in a good long while so I'm trying to backtrack who it could be. Smh. These guys aren't cool. No respect for peoples hard work. Receiving credit for my sweat. For the record I know all the little marking involving all my parts. Ive owned them since 2008. Thats including interior. Shame on you who has MY parts.

Honestly I doubt that his car was marked at a meet. As far as I can tell this was a total opportunity grab. There was no planning and terrible execution. The only thing they did right is not getting caught. I can, however, pretty much guarantee that said theif is out at the meets looking for scores though. Anyone who goes to meets needs to be very aware of who is looking at their car, what they are looking at, and who'se behind you on the way home. If you spot someone staring at your liscence plates or vin number then you know their interested in more than just looking. Just be aware everyone. 240's are pretty much the easiest cars ever to steal and there is a lot of people out there looking to steal it. Honeltly that had a large part to do with my decision to stop going to meets after the 818 meet died and now I don't even own a 240 anymore.

I had a homie that lived in the apts on lassen in between white oak and zelzah, and i've seen your car there before if i'm not mistaken. I parked behind u a few times haha in a green coupe.. I specifically remember your car for the kouki tails c pillar no tint and no lock on the QR. Really nice car in person. That's terrible what happened man, really. My best regards for your future build, do her right. |

Man, getting a car stolen like this is a mind-fuck. Mine was stolen in 2010 and all they did was blow the motor on it. And I'm 99% sure it was marked at a car meet. I saw a group of people looking as 1 guy pointed at my car. And I was close enough to hear the name of the company that I was working at in the conversation. 1 week later my car was stolen from my place of work. Got it back 2 weeks later. Sr had a melted #3 piston. Your situation reminds me of mine. I couldn't stop thinking about it for months. Total mind-fuck.
