Just how I like it! High quality parts are a must. I have a slight case of OCD, so attention to detail is quite adamant.

Me too!! A few more things to cut/drill before paint goes on. Engine shouldn't be far off from that.

Got the oil cooler in the mail today. Should do the job!

Try imagine it sitting underneath the intercooler. Will look clean.

Just picked this Carbing Air Diversion Plate Kit from VisionR, much better than the GKTech equivalent.

Made brackets up for the Oil Cooler today.

Test fit with HMIC to make sure I get it sitting where I want it.

After getting some measurements, I went to my mates and got some brackets made up.

Next order will be for pistons and what not.

Cheers mate! It's just a China one, but I don't think it'll fuck up. If it does, I'll just buy the PWR Cooler which this one is based off.

Just spent this afternoon unbolting the rest of the sheet in the engine bay, like suspension etc. I want it all bare so the paint goes to the places that it should.

Will get to stripping the paint off soon.

Looking good! subbed for results...

Curious why, since you're doing all this work in the bay anyway, you're not doing tubs...

Darren, I'm disliking you a lot right now. I scrolled through my thread the other day, but didn't have time to reply to the comments, so just had a quick read, and your comment really stuck in my head. It was a bloody good question.
Now, I'm here to tell you that I've since sorted out some tubs. Some pretty awesome ones, too! Damn you peer pressure. Damn you Darren and your great ideas. Haha.

*In case you hadn't caught on, I'm joking around, but the actual purchase of tubs is factual.*

Recieved my Tomei Fuel Pressure Gauge this morning. For such a simple item, you can still feel the quality. Tomei <3

Will be a little delay on the on the Tomei FPR. The one I originally ordered was a fake, but that's all sorted out now. Genuine FPR will come when the internals do.

Shit update, is shit.

Got these Super Pro Polyurethane Steering Rack Bushes in the mail today.

With the solid steering spacer and all the other suspension related upgrades, and now these bushes, the steering should feel fantastic.

Rex Kelway Tubs should arrive next week. Also, CP Pistons/ Manley Rods/ Tomei FPR and Mazworx Full Length Head Studs have been payed for, probably get them in a week or two.

Will need to order my Nismo Main Bearings some time soon, as well.

I started sanding the engine bay with some 120g, but I still need to take the steering column out so I can sand the drivers side area properly.

Been an interesting day.

Missed a delivery of something this morning, was disappointed. Went to go drop something off at uni in the Rolla, than its gearbox decided to shit itself. Luckily I was told the FWD 4AGE gearboxes are easy to come by, so I scored this for $50.00, just need install it.

Ended up being able to pick the delivery up a little earlier. Turned out to be my Rex Kelway Tubs, YEAHH BUDDYYY!

Test fit of the tubs. Can't wait to have them fitted.

I know right!!

A bloke over in South Australia makes them. Rex Kelway is his name, and he does a lot of other stuff as well. They're literally a chop out, weld in dealio.

Here's a thread with some of his creations in it:

Rex Kelway sucks. - Hardtuned.net

Worth a read.

I used Tengoku Imports (Facebook them). They're a Western Australian company. Don't really know anyone who could help sort you out.

Sorry for the lack of info. I hope he gets back to you, that's if you PM'd him, that is.

Thanks mate.

They cost an arm and a leg, but in my opinion, was totally worth it.

They cost $650.00 delivered. I had extra money from selling my coilies and impulsively ordered these, haha.

Glad to see you did the tubs now.

You would have gotten everything back together and been pissed when you realized you should have done it while it was apart

Should look great when they're installed!
