As for the tach, without a 10k resistor it won't be accurate. I have mine turned all the way to the left and it's off 400 rpm until I get to like 6 then it's off 1-1500 rpm.

Okay? But you still didn't take the ka speed sensor and install it into the Rb25 trans. The Ka one is smaller and shorter. I could see if you removed the gear off the ka speed sensor and got it on the rb speed sensor, no idea on that cause I never tried it. Or you have an rb20 trans.

with the sway bar, if you can find one in the US ( you might have to by one in or go aftermarket) are A31 Cefiro or C33 Laurel Front sway bar. They run the McPherson strut like the Silvia but allow for the RB motor.

Any body have an r33 trans crossmember and the dust plate between the engine and trans for sale?
I would actually love to find some one local to make sure it fits but I'm running r33 subframe and stock mounts..( well sorta still 2 post style but almost a solid mount at the bottom) I heard I either need r33 trans crossmember or auto Ka? Is this true and does any one have them |

Alright you RB guru's what timing should I be at for e85 on my rb25? My tuner set my mechanical timing to 20..now I know with the stock ecu it should be at 15..since I'm running a standalone and e85. Does 20 sound about right?

Doesn't make sense to pull timing with E85, I'd set mechanical at 15 and see what kind of timing you can add at your boost level (or throw a ton of boost at it and see how much timing you can keep).

New to the rb's. Recently bought an rb26 and it came with a t04z t4 1.00 twin scroll. Looke specs and is good for 700hp. How laggy is this turbo on a rb26?
I'm just looking for solid 550hp. What turbo/ turbine housing a/r is recommended? Manifold is single t4 twun scroll with 38mm single wg. Thanks for the help guys |

I just swapped plenums around on my rb20 yesterday. The back of the rail gets the "in" line with the fuel filter on it. The front of the rail gets the "return" line . Just think in and out while looking at the rail

The rb20 has 2 regulators on is a fpr and other is a fuel back pressure regulator. Z32's have em as well. From what I remember a sr20 and rb25 have 1 like in your description

Worst case still confused undo the lines from the regulators and blow air through the ends you're questioning. Not with your mouth a compressor if you need make sure your not pumping air i into the rail or regulators though UNHOOK both sides. |

Now that the CAS issue is all squared away now for the vacuum lines how can i find a leak? i know there is a line that is next to the T/b and its open it used to go to the canister but now that its gone is this a reason why it doesnt fire on also? do i just plug the T/b vacuum line?

borrow/make a smoker. there are plenty of diy write ups online. it is the quickest and easiest way to find them. another solution is to take brake cleaner and spray it on all of the lines as the car is running. when the idle picks up, you know you are spraying it where the leak is.
