I'm breaking my neck trying to look at that picture so here...

Is this your first 240sx? Creamy yellows are extremely rare and if you're new to 240sx's that is a bad idea. I'd hate to see something happen to it as it looks to be in good condition.

I just accessed the VIN# database for 240sx's and here is production color results I found for our beloved two-tones...

Platinum Blue Two-Tone: 3720
Silver Green Two-Tone: 2286
Creamy Yellow Two-Tone: 686

Making a total of 6692 two-tones for the US.

edit:

Fixed Platinum Blue Two-Tone numbers.

That luggage rack though! That is the first time I have seen one on a 240, our trunks are already huge. You could rally the shit out of it, I'm sure it rides nice like a caddy.

You should take it to a body shop because your quarter panel is full of mud.

Over 3000 Platinum Blues, about 2000 Silver greens, and 600+ Creamy Yellows. Compared to the total number of 216,595 S13 240sx's created, they are rare. Have you ever seen 3000 cars together at once? That is still A LOT of cars. I have a 203 MB database file of every Nissan VIN# and the details about each individual car. Searching the entire S13 240sx section for unique paint codes to get these numbers. And how I know they are close to accurate is because the total number of cars produced is very close to the production number values which can be found online from multiple sources.

And back to the two-tone...

Bought this off an older guy. He knew exactly what he had and took very good care of it. An 89 XE Model, 5 speed with only 157k miles on it. Everything is all stock aside from the wheels and air filter. No cracks in the dash and no tears in the seats. Not a single thing missing from the car.

Spotted a Silvia front green/gray two tone driving (with some damage on the side) in the Valley. You drove right by cops with that loud ass bov/exhaust, surprised you didn't get pulled over, lol.

Preservation society? Pretty sure a car cover would be encompassed by the overarching theme of "preserving" our two tones.

That picture is actually photo shopped. But hey! I think you should still go ahead and try it out. Maybe you could be our guinea pig in our experiment. You'll be the first person to ever have a 2-toned s13 coupe with a 180sx type bumper. It might possibly look awesome in real life, but we'll never now until someones tries it out.
