My car didn't come with anti-theft from the factory but there is only one headlamp relay for the low beams and high beams, etc and it is located in the box at the top of the middle row and is labeled on the cover. |

I'm using stock mounts. I had to fight to get the motor on the passenger side. I'll put up some pics when I get home. from the pics I have its hard to tell. the only way I could tell was the shifted was off center by about 2 inches

Be sure to use the correct mount holes. I had trouble with this. I had to remove the intake manifold support bracket to get to the proper mount holes on the intake side.

I def got excited when I saw the throttle cable as well lol.
What did you use to mount your fpr like that on the intake manifold. Only brackets I seen are freed engineering for like $60. I thought of just getting a nice piece of sheet metal to bolt together

Hey Cooley you got to move the passenger bracket back one more set of holes. Make sure the longer bracket is on the passenger side too. Mine doesn't sit off as bad as yours.

Hey guys, I've been keeping tabs on this thread for a while, but I'm not sure if this has been brought up before.
Have any of you switched from an SR or KA to a 1J or 2J with the same suspension setup and can make some comments on how the handling changes? Sorry if it was covered and I missed it.

ja little update here. just ordered a pc680 dry cell battery for my swap, since i had to move the battery from the bay anyway. im tucking it under the dash and running remote terminals out to the bay for emergencys. should keep the starter cable nice and short. im then moving on to the fuel lines, anyone got a pic of how they connected to the OEM fuel dampner? im thinking rubber lines with a z32 filter and using worm drive clamps, but im confused as to how everyone is mating to the dampner. thanks!

I removed the dampner from my 1j if that helps any.
Little update, I finally got the engine and trans installed with the Xcessive mounts. Everything lined up so well it was stupid. Such a breeze with all new hardware. I didn't have the issue with the trans mount being too big because I grabbed an Xcessive poly mount as well. And a protip: If you use a jzx100 tripod shifter, it will sit REALLY far back(but I dig it, makes it nicely within reach having the seat and everything moved back.
