I am 3 hours away from the importer and they said 1600 for a jdm 2jzgte non vvti no tranny or ecu. They said they do compression test and will do it in front of me and will give me a 30 day warranty.

But mine definitely has a MAP sensor and AFM. The AFM was in the stock intake tube/air filter assembly. |

Anyone running a single setup on a RHD S13? I'm curious about the clearance with the steering collum. What is the best cheap manifold. dont wanna pay 1000$+ and was wondering if the 200$ on ebay is any good.

Also, I have heard that the CXRacing one that looks quite nice actually needs to have a few holes drilled out and potentially the use of a bolt/cut down a stud to make it fit. It's a nice looking unit but you may have to mod it. Suprastore.com has manifolds for 700.00 that are really sweet looking. |

I think cast manifold is the way to go if you don't want to spend alot.

The maf is somewhere in the local landfill now. I had my aem v2 before I even had my engine.
Jdm vvti and usdm 2jzgte engines used maf and map whereas the jdm non-vvti 2j uses only a map sensor.

Sometimes I wish I went with a cast manifold for simplicity.

Anybody have a problem with the 2j vvti hitting a D1 style hood?
Set the hood on last night for the first time and was pissed. Lol Crossmember to oil pan is about 3/4" to 1" but only have about 1/2" til it hits the steering rack. I dont get it... |

Had a rivet come out of the strap on my ACT pressure plate for my r154. Got another one and never had a problem again

Xcessive. The engine is pretty low. I have about a 1/2" I can lower it more by cutting my hard engine mounts down. I dont think it still will be enough. Looks like its time to cut the hood support

What's up guys. Any ProEFI 128 users in here with the CAN color gauge? If so, where/how did you mount it? I was thinking about using a sort of GPS-inspired mounting location around this area if possible.
